Making portraits is an obsession. This film is a portrait of portraiture. It follows photographer Nii Obodai as he seeks to capture images of Nigerian boxer Helen “Iron Lady” Joseph. They travel around the city of Accra, searching for the proper

lighting and setting, and contemplating the possibilities of portraiture. As Obodai and Joseph move, they get to know each other in profound and playful ways. The process of making a portrait prompts both the subject and photographer to reflect on what brought them together and drives them in deeper ways.
